Ski Hire Manager 1.2

Description

Ski Hire Manager is windows application which manages the day to day business of a ski hire establishment. This software uses a centralised database so that hires can be started at one terminal and continued and completed at other terminals. This gives a ski hire business the flexibility to act as a production line so that one technician can be fitting boots, another technician can be fitting skis and bindings, another technician can be fitting snowboards, etc. Alternatively, technician's can personally look after each customer. You can use the software in a way that suits your business and maximizes your customer base.

Ski Hire Manager Web Reports 1.2

Description

The Ski Hire Manager Web Reports is designed to bring the data that is locked up in your business's records and present it as meaningful information. This meaningful information then allows you to make more accurate business desicions. There are two reports which provide particularly useful information which is relevant for business decisions.
  • Item Hire Frequency Report
    By knowing which Items are the most popular therefore generate the most revenue, you can alter you purchasing plan. For example, it would make sense to have more of a certain type of Skis if they were very popular, and less of a certain type of Skis if they were rarely hired.

  • Items Due Back (Tomorrow) Report
    As you know, when managing manpower it is vital that you know the workload that you have ahead of you. Experience will tell you that some days of the week are busier than others for Hires and Returns, and the "Items Due Back (Tomorrow) Report" is able to extend on this by providing a report of exactly how many people we be returning items and exactly how many items there are. Further, it will also detail what each item is. So if you have a lot of equipment due back you would obviously want to have more staff working. Conversely, if you do not have many items due back you would not want many staff working because they would, most likely, be standing around.

Item Assistant 1.2

Description

Item Assistant is a windows application which allows staff members to add the ski hire stock to the Ski Hire Manager database. This software tool has only a few steps to record each item's details. One of the most useful features is that items can be added in a batch. For example, if you have 10 new skis which are "2006 Rossignol Open Power + Axium 100X Plate" you can enter the details at once, then scan 10 bar codes and all 10 Skis will be recorded.
